The Operator is responsible for safely operating all terminal and depot equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring and loading of petroleum products.
Report to the Operations Supervisor, this person is also responsible for the testing of products and documentation of results, maintenance of terminal and depot equipment, preparation of reports, and general maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
Prepare product movement and handles the tasks and checklists of end-to-end loading activities on tank trucks.
Monitor and handles of fuel, lubes, dyes, and additives properly, ensuring accurate levels are manually blended into products.
Maintain and repairs facilities and equipment when necessary.
Perform quality checks of products , assessing levels of bottom sediment, water, and foreign materials in oil samples.
Ensures safety procedures and policies are followed during all tasks undertaken.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in any course
At least one year of related experience in terminal or depot operations, but fresh graduates may be considered. • Good communication and interpersonal skills, experienced in talking with people of different levels
Can assess and resolve problems well, with or without assistance from the supervisor.
